I know, you can’t tell much by the picture, but it’s done!  Just have to go let the buyer know.

I Have Lots To Say Today

I am almost done with the wrap!

 

Everything going well, I should finish it up today.  It really shouldn’t have taken so long, but I had to stick it in with moving and knitting.  Had I heard from the girl who originally wanted it, I would have done it much quicker.  When I finish it, I will post a pic to her journal with the total, and if she doesn’t respond, I will sell it elsewhere.

I finally worked out the short row issues and I think I am happy with where they are now.  Now I just need to get down to the crotch so I can figure out the gussetting that I want to put in.  After that it is smooth sailing down the legs and my sister already picked the pattern I am going to use to cuff the legs with.  I love my perpetual knitting calendar!  If anyone has a date they particulary like, let me know and I will see if I can use them in my work.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a great weekend!  Saturday, the girls and I went to Maryland Renn Faire.  We were there all day, from 10 in the morning to 6 at night!  I couldn’t believe we made it that long!  We had a great time, saw some shows (I laughed until my sides hurt and I was bawling), visited with friends, met new people whom I have known in cyberworld and had good food.  Oh, and gave out a business card!  I had really hoped for more, but most of the people who approached me had the “I used to do that with my baby” reaction instead of wondering where I got it.
